Walk on Water Info

The Mayans, living in present day Quintana Roo, Mexico, had a deep understanding of heavens.  This site shows a relatively simple looking structure, yet something very interesting happens here four times a year.  During the spring and vernal equinoxes the sun rises directly in the center of the large doorway.  During the longest and shortest days of the year, the sun rises in each of the small “windows” on either side of the door way.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is where Galileo is rumored to have dropped different sized objects to show that all things fall at the same rate.  I don’t recommend trying to drop something off of it today.
